Hongqiao Raw Water Pumping Station Project

Project Overview
The Hongqiao Raw Water Pumping Station Project is a key component of the Shanghai Raw Water Western Ring (South Section) Project. It improves Shanghai's raw water supply network through interconnection, mutual support and coordinated operation, enhancing reliability, flexibility and emergency response while strengthening links between the Qingcaosha Water Source and the upstream Huangpu River system.
Project Highlights
The project includes a new raw water transmission pipeline and pumping station with a designed capacity of 1.2 million m³/day. It includes approximately 19 km of DN3000 pipeline and supporting valve chambers. The station has eight horizontal centrifugal pump units (six operating and two standby) and a total building area of approximately 6,432.71 m², including 4,198.77 m² above ground and 2,233.94 m² underground.
